About this product

How to Care for your Candle:

.

When lighting your candle for the first time, burn until the wax melts across the entire container.  This prevents tunnelling and creates an even burn for the entire life of the candle.  This may take between 2 – 4 hours.

.

Trim the wick before lighting the candle each time to approx. a ¼”, this promotes an even burn, a steady flame and additionally prevents sooting and mushrooming of the wick.

.

Keep the wax pool in the candle container free of wick trimmings, debris or matches at all times.

.

Ideally extinguish your candle flame with a candle snuffer, as blowing the flame may cause a splatter of wax.

.

Keep your candle away from draughts as this will diminish the scent throw, cause uneven burning and increase the potential of the candle to smoke.

.

Burn additional candles at least 8 - 10cm apart from one another.

.

Keep burning candles away from children and pets.

.

Never burn your soy candle right to the bottom of the container, always leave approx. an 1/8” remaining of wax to avoid soot and overheating the container.

.

How to Clean your Glass Vessel:

.

Place your glass vessel into hot water, ensuring that water does not get into the actual jar or votive.  Let the jar sit and allow the wax to slowly melt and soften. Hold the jar in one hand and use a butter knife to loosen the wax.  Then clean with hot soapy water and reuse for another purpose such as making jam, or use for decoupaging for a pen pot or similar.
